Its Christmas Eve and I am lazy as hell so once again I will just be providing my winners for the week. On a side note I wanted to let you know that so far I have picked 145 winners to 77 losers on the season. Not bad, if I do say so myself.
Titans
Falcons
Bengals
Browns
Packers
Ravens
Dolphins
Patriots
Buccaneers (Yeah, I said it)
Giants
Cardinals
49ers
Eagles
Jets
Cowboys
Vikings
Steve, you homer! If the Bucs win this weekend, it will be the biggest upset of the season.
ReplyDeleteHave a very Merry Christmas and thanks for doing your blog and host and game chats!
This is my first comment/post to your blog> I really appreciate your analysis because it is based on fact and true observation, not some opinion.. I like you pick as the BUcs winning this weekend. I too am right there with you and think that the Bucs are going to be a dominating force with Raheem at the helm for years to come. Merry Christmas, Steve.

Dude you have STONES. I think the Bucs will win too, but I'm a hopeless homer. Enjoy the holiday, and thanks for the relentless honesty and insight.
ReplyDeleteHey guys, and welcome Shawn. Thanks for all the comments. Now I will be the first to admit that yes I am a homer. But there is a method to my madness when it comes to the Saints game. For one, after playing such a big game against the Cowboys and losing I have a feeling that they will have a hard time getting up for the Bucs and they will take them lightly. I also think the Vikings losing is going to give them a feeling like they have some cushion now for the number 1 seed in the NFC and homefield. That's another reason for them to overlook the Bucs.
ReplyDeleteThen you look at how our offense played last week, and if we can keep that same kind of pound the run game plan then I think we will milk the clock and keep the Saints off the field. With the adjustments our defense has made over the last few weeks I really think we are going to put a lot of pressure on the Saints and Brees will end up throwing the ball to us a few times.
Really my only worry is special teams. With our top two returners out I am worried about who we will have back there catching punts. But other than that I think we win this one in a very close game.
I really want to see some more of Kareem Huggins. From what I have read, a lot of the other players, really like him. I read somewhere that he ran the 40 in 4.2+ time. It would be great if he can come in and pick up the return game where Stroughter and Smith left it. I really would like to see him get some carries. If he is fast as I read, I think it may be a great change up to Williams and Ward, kind of like Bradshaw was for th Giants.
ReplyDeleteSteve,
ReplyDeleteHow right were you?
Looking back, your comments were prophetic.
No man-crush or anything, but that was a DAMN good call.
