I have had the privilege of actually spending some time with and around Mr. Lee Roy Selmon and I can tell you that as great as he was as a defensive lineman for the Bucs he is even more impressive as person. A lot of people don't realize how important he has been to building up the USF football program as well. It was only fitting that Mr. Selmon was the first Buccaneer honored in the Ring of Honor and I am glad the Glazer family saw fit to honor him that way. Hopefully other guys from that era will soon be similarly recognized like Doug Williams, Jimmie Giles, Batman Woods, Rickey Bell, and the list goes on and on.
