A Note

Just wanted to drop a quick line.

When I started this blog last year it was definitely just meant to be a hobby. I saw things going on in the sports world and specifically with my old team the Bucs and needed to vent about them. But over time it has become more than that for me and thankfully more people have become interested in what I have to say. Because of that I'm going to strive to blog more starting now. Even if its not the longer editorials I do I am going to start posting stories and links about sports that I find around the web that I think you might be interested in. I figure if I am going to actually be a blogger then I might as well jump all the way in.

I appreciate everyone who has been supporting this blog before and as always I look forward to our interactions in the comments section. Also remember that you can follow me on twitter and facebook by clicking the appropriate link over there -------------------------->
Have a blessed day!

  3. Steve, great to hear you are going to blog more! Your analysis/opinion writing on the Bucs is already far superior to any of the dross we get from Yasinskas at ESPN, the local Tampa media or any of your competing bloggers. Keep on keepin' on, and I'll keep reading it!

I have a question for you, though. You seem to have no problem shooting straight with your analysis, but it seems to me that many other knowledgeable former-players who work regularly for big media organizations seem to end up eventually regurgitating whatever line the media is trying to run on a given issue. They seldom disagree with whatever the dominant opinion is, even when they are wrong. I've seen you call some of these guy out in your writing, guys with enough football experience to know better. Why do these guys lack the cojones to state an unpopular opinion?

Is it just that once they start getting a fat check from ESPN they don't wanna rock the boat and call out the Kornheisers of the world on their B.S?
