I forget who the short pass was to, but Penn got out front and lifted up Adam Jones and slammed him down. It was an excellent lesson in the "Law of Gross Tonnage". You have may referenced this in GB&U which is where I'm heading next. No one can say this team isn't entertaining.
Thanks, much enjoyment.BigMacAttackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16164863493790593377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-1238451077286334862010-10-11T20:58:03.422-04:002010-10-11T20:58:03.422-04:00Great read as always. Is that something that is the fault of the d-line coach, or is it something that just takes time to correct due to their youth?Davisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-6224425382734615172010-10-11T19:27:43.085-04:002010-10-11T19:27:43.085-04:00Thanks Steve, as always, great read, great informa...Thanks Steve, as always, great read, great information.BamBamBuchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15169359261662102433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-25698342323848322752010-10-11T17:56:40.504-04:002010-10-11T17:56:40.504-04:00Good read broGood read bromrrodgers1noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-56446450367546545252010-10-11T13:36:45.791-04:002010-10-11T13:36:45.791-04:00@Jonny

At the same time the defensive end outside the offensive tackle runs up field to get the offensive tackle to focus on him then loops inside of the guard to the A gap between the guard and center. The hope is that you create a situation where you have two guys against one guard trying to block.sgw94noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-83540571494573712802010-10-11T13:33:57.266-04:002010-10-11T13:33:57.266-04:00@Jonny

But the point of a double team is to mash someone. For the rest of the game he did fine against the run. Of course I'm sure Ian has been saying he isn't strong since the combine so I don't expect his story to change no matter what happens.sgw94noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-92103601401678813432010-10-11T13:26:45.401-04:002010-10-11T13:26:45.401-04:00Also Steve, I know you are a defensive guy, but ho...Also Steve, I know you are a defensive guy, but how about our franchise QB? When I mentioned that Bennett could be better in run stop I pretty much meant the D line as a whole. But because Bennett was the guy being focused on it sounded like I was making him the goat.

Overall, good write up. He was getting ragdolled a lot.”

Do you find his comments right?Jonnynoreply@blogger.com
