For me Id rather have my SS in the box just like you because they are more used to being there. The only reason I could see for rolling the FS down would be if the SS normally lines up to the tight end and as a way to be consistent and hide the 8 man front you just keep it the same way and use the FS instead.sgw94noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-60589520122240972372010-07-01T11:54:55.814-04:002010-07-01T11:54:55.814-04:00@brent

In yours it is the opposite. What is the advantage of this despite the obvious you can man your fs with a good receiving back. Thanks, also I see it frees up the ss for interesting blitz combos but i would like your input thanks againbrent farmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16300385210314046413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7089915695240170666.post-23275282537501041122010-06-30T15:21:30.394-04:002010-06-30T15:21:30.394-04:00The post could use some cleaning up, but that'...The post could use some cleaning up, but that's just the grammar nazi in me, don't take it personally.

I actually found it really enlightening as well. As a casual fan who just loves football but doesn't know the X's and O's, articles like this are really intriguing. I like the way you lay down the terminology, it's easy to understand. I would love to read more posts like this, especially in the offseason when we're starved for news!
